Grace Bible Church is a non-denominational, evangelical congregation meeting each Sunday at Harmony Intermediate School in Hamilton.

The April 18 Good Friday message will be “Road to the Cross,” tracing Christ’s last week on earth. The April 20 Easter Sunday message will be “Road to the Crown,” tracing Jesus’ role as the Eternal Son, the Messianic/Davidic Son, and the Risen/Ruling Son.

Sterling United Methodist Church, 304 East Church Road, will host a Fireside Café on Saturday, April 26, at 6 p.m. “So What’s the Point?” with Bucky Smith is a short exposition on Psalm 139:1-3 and how it applies to daily life. The music will be provided by pianist David Bilowus in a “Prelude to Spring.” Refreshments and dinner will be served. Nursery care for children ages 2 and under will be provided. MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) at Capital Community Church in Ashburn Village will host a “Child Safety Fair” on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., in the church’s parking lot at 20430 Ashburn Village Blvd. The Ashburn Fire Department will be on hand to give tours of the fire trucks and emergency vehicles. The Loudoun County Sheriffs will issue ID cards for the kids and give tours of the patrol cars. There will also be face painting, clowns and balloons.

Ashburn Presbyterian Church has begun registration for its fourth annual Christian Musical Theatre Camp. The camp begins July 28 and runs through Aug. 1. Theatre Camp times are 9 a.m.-3 p.m. daily. Registration deadline is June 1. Space is limited. The cost per student is $110 and includes snacks and lunch daily and dinner on Friday. The theme of this year’s camp is “Super Heroes.”

Beth Chaverim Reform Congregation is holding a Second Night Seder on Thursday, April 17, at 6 p.m. in Leesburg. There will be the reading of the Haggadah and then a traditional dinner will be served. Potomac Baptist Church in Lowes Island will hold a special Good Friday service at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 18 featuring the church’s sanctuary choir performing selections from the Easter portion of Handel’s “Messiah,” along with other music. Two identical worship services take place on Easter Sunday, April 20, at 8 and 10:45 a.m. Pastor Bill Walker will have a special Resurrection Day message, and the regular Sunday School hour, with classes for all ages, will be at 9:30 a.m., between the two worship services.

The Unitarian Universalists of Sterling (UUS) will celebrate Easter Sunday, April 20 with an intergenerational service entitled “Redemption.” The annual celebration and Flower Communion will focus on the concept of redemption and how it applies to Unitarian Universalists. Music, story-telling, and an interactive homily will make this service accessible to all ages. Galilee United Methodist Church, 20600 Broad Run Drive, Sterling, has begun a nondenominational family ministry program, “Family Time,” designed to help pass on Christian values and heritage. On the first Monday of the month, the group will meet at the church to “inspire one another, collect the tools and gather the knowledge to lead” families in weekly at-home lessons.
