As part of the "Soup and Service" Lenten Series, Wesley United Methodist Church is hosting a simple supper of soup and bread, followed by a short service, each Thursday during Lent. St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church will celebrate Holy Week with a Christian Passover Supper on Maundy Thursday, April 17, at 7 p.m. and celebration of Eucharist at 8 p.m.
On Good Friday, April 18, there will be meditation at 12 p.m. and Stations of the Cross at 1 p.m. In the evening there will be an Experiential Stations of the Cross at 7 p.m.
On Easter Sunday, April 20, worship services will include the St. Dunstan's Choirs at both services. Children are welcome in the worship, but activities will be available for young children, and a nursery will be available during the 10:15 a.m. service.

Lutheran Church of the Redeemer invites everyone to join in its Holy Week services.
On April 17, Maundy Thursday, an 11 a.m. worship service will offer communion in remembrance of the Last Supper. The 7:30 p.m. service will explore Jesus' teachings of love and service with prayer and contemplation. The altar will be stripped in preparation for Good Friday.
On April 18, Good Friday, a 10 a.m. children's service will tell the story of Jesus' betrayal and suffering on the cross in a way that children will understand. The 7:30 p.m. candlelight service will provide an opportunity reflect on Christ's final hours.
On April 20, Easter Sunday, a 7 a.m. sunrise service celebrates the new day as a symbol of Christ's resurrection. 8:30 and 11 a.m. services feature the choir and musicians.

On Maundy Thursday, April 17, at 6:30 p.m., "Witnesses for the Crucifixion." This service will consist of a meal, musical solos and a play depicting the hour Jesus was crucified as his friends search for him throughout Jerusalem. Christ the King Lutheran Church (10550 Georgetown Pike, Great Falls) invites all for Holy Week Services. On Maundy Thursday at 7:30 p.m., reflect upon the servant Jesus who washed feet and reflected on his life during the Lord's Supper. Good Friday there is a Children's Service at 10 a.m. The story of Jesus' death will be shared. There will be time for special prayer as each child kneels at the foot of the black-draped cross. A service of darkness will be held at 7:30 p.m. that night. During this dramatic service in the darkened church, the cross is carried out of the sanctuary. An Easter Vigil is held at 6 p.m., April 19. Gather on Easter at 8:30 and 11 am to celebrate our Lord's resurrection. Organ, brass, flute, violin and voices will hail in this festival day. The Alliance of Baptists will explore matters of faith and ecology at the annual convocation, April 24-26, at the Vienna Baptist Church, 541 Marshall Road S.W., Vienna.
