"Celebration Camp" on Friday, Sept. 27, at 7:30 p.m. will celebrate 20 years of support services to children with cancer and HIV at a private residence in Bethesda. This Celebration Camp will feature favorite camp foods and activities, silent auction offering the finest in designer handbags and other collectibles, and celebrity guests. Bob Ryan, of NBC-4, will emcee and Alan and Dianne Kay will host. A special award will be presented to Barry F. Scher, vice president of public affairs for Giant Food, Inc.

"Share the Health," an exposition of health resources from The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and its neighbors designed to promote community health, will be held on Oct. 26, from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Natcher Conference Center in building 45 on the NIH campus in Bethesda. Alzheimer’s Association caregiver support groups are facilitated by trained group leaders. The meetings are ongoing, free and open to the community.
