ROBBERY/MALICIOUS WOUNDING
Lee Highway 7400 block - Police are investigating a robbery where a 26-year-old man was walking from Strathmeade Street to the 7-Eleven Store at 7463 Lee Highway and was approached by two men who demanded money. The victim retrieved cash from his pocket and handed it to the suspects. After the victim relinquished his money, one of the suspects stabbed the victim in his hand. Both suspects fled on foot.
Spring Hill Road 1500 block - On September 10 at 5:30 p.m., a New Jersey man went to a hotel room at the Comfort Inn under the premise of meeting a prostitute. The girl, known only as “Lisa,” ordered the man to disrobe to prove he was not a police officer. After the man was naked, two men came out of the hotel room bathroom and demanded the man’s money. Another woman, known only as “Jade,” knocked on the door and was let in the room. Shortly thereafter, all four fled the room and were last seen driving away in a tan four-door sedan. The investigation is continuing.
