<b>ROBBERY BY FORCE</b>
<b>1300 N. Wilson Blvd.</b> At approximately 01:40 a.m. on Sept. 7, the victim, a 36-year-old male, was walking his bike when he was approached by two unknown male subjects. One subject commented on the victim's bike, then both subjects grabbed the bike and tried to take it. After a brief struggle, the subjects were able to take the bike and fled the scene heading north on North Nash Street. Each of the two suspects is described as an Hispanic male, late teens to early 20s, 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 120 pounds.
<b>ATTEMPTED ARMED ROBBERY</b>
<b>3600 S. Columbia Pike.</b> At approximately 7:55 p.m. on Sept. 6, a male subject entered a convenience store, approached the clerk and demanded money. The clerk sent another employee to call police and then told the subject that she would get the money. Officers arrived and took the subject into custody without incident. A search revealed a knife in his pocket. The subject, Julio Hernandez-Del Cid, 25, of Arlington, was arrested and charged with attempted robbery.
<b>ROBBERY</b>
<b>2900 S. Glebe Road.</b> At approximately 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 9, the victim, a 26-year-old male, was walking up to a bank to make a deposit when he was approached by an unknown male subject. The subject grabbed the victim by the neck and grabbed the deposit bag out of his hand. The subject then fled the scene on foot toward South Lang Street. The suspect is described as an Hispanic male, in his 20s, approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds.
<b>MISSILE INTO AN OCCUPIED VEHICLE</b>
<b>2800 S. Randolph St.</b> At approximately 4:23 p.m. on Sept. 8, the victim, a 29-year-old female, reported to an officer that she had been sitting in her car when the rear window was shattered by a rock. Witnesses reported seeing several juveniles on the roof of a parking garage directly above the vehicle. Three juvenile subjects were taken into custody and ultimately released to their parents. Charges are pending.
<b>ATTEMPTED ABDUCTION</b>
<b>900 N. Barton St.</b> At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 3, an unknown male subject approached three juveniles in a vehicle and told them to get in so he could drive them home. The juveniles refused and ran from the scene. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall, 165 pounds, thin beard and mustache, an "African" accent, wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
<b>RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY</b>
<b>1400 S. Rolfe St.</b> Sometime between 7 a.m. on July 24 and 5 p.m. on Sept. 5, unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed several items including a passport, jewelry and cash. There were no signs of forced entry.
<b>5500 S. Columbia Pike.</b> Sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 7, unknown subject(s) entered a residence, rummaged through the contents and removed cash. There were no signs of forced entry.
<b>COMMERCIAL BURGLARY</b>
<b>6900 N. Fairfax Drive.</b> Sometime between 5:30 and 9:19 p.m. on Sept. 6, unknown subject(s) entered a service garage by breaking a garage door window. An inventory of the premises revealed that nothing appeared to be missing.
<b>2700 S. Jeff Davis Highway</b> Sometime between 4:15 p.m. on Sept. 6 and 5 a.m. on Sept. 9, unknown subject(s) entered an office, rummaged through several desk and file drawers and removed items including a laptop computer and several cell phones. There were no signs of forced entry.
<b>4300 block of N. Fairfax Drive.</b> Sometime between 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 11 and 9 a.m. on Sept. 12, unknown subject(s) forced entry into two suites in the building. Several desk drawers and file cabinets also were forced open. An undetermined amount of cash was taken from one of the desk drawers.
<b>3300 block of N. Lee Highway.</b> At 11:20 p.m. on Sept. 12, unknown subject(s) entered the business by forcing open a side window. A safe containing an undetermined amount of cash was stolen from the business.
<b>ATTEMPTED COMMERCIAL BURGLARY</b>
<b>2700 S. Jefferson Davis Highway.</b> Sometime between 7 and 11:58 p.m. on Sept. 7, unknown subject(s) entered a suite of offices, went through several desk and file drawers and removed a computer projector and a container of U.S. coins. There were no signs of forced entry.
<b>ATTEMPTED BURGLARY</b>
<b>3000 block of S. Randolph St.</b> Sometime between 10 a.m. on Sept. 9 and 5 p.m. on Sept. 12, an unknown subject attempted to pry open the patio door to an apartment. Entry into the apartment was not gained; however, two mountain bikes were stolen from the patio.
<b>ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY</b>
<b>200 N. Piedmont St.</b> At approximately 1 a.m. on Sept. 8, a resident was in his bathroom when he heard a noise at the window. When he opened the window, the victim observed an unknown male subject attempting to open the window from the outside. The subject had already removed the window screen. The subject then fled the scene on foot heading north. The suspect is described as an Hispanic male, in his 20s, approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 180 to 190 pounds, black hair, wearing a white T-shirt and a white ball cap worn backwards.
<b>3800 N. 18th St.</b> Sometime between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Sept. 11, unknown subject(s) opened a ground-floor window and removed the screen, but did not appear to have entered the residence.
