Episcopal High School will present Neil Simon's "Fools" on Nov. 6-8 at 7:30 p.m. This fable tells the story of Kulyenchokov, a tiny Ukrainian village cursed with stupidity, and the idealistic schoolteacher who attempts to educate its good-hearted but dim-witted citizens.
The play will be presented in the school's temporary theater home in Stewart Gym on the Episcopal High School campus at 5900 W. Braddock Road. By next fall the school's new Ainslie Arts Center will open with a renovated 700-seat mainstage theater as well as a 100-seat Black Box, scene shop, dressing rooms , and studios for art and music instruction.
