The Cabin John Park Volunteer Fire Department held its annual open house last Sunday, Oct. 13 at Station 10, 8001 River Rd.
The Potomac Chamber of Commerce has chosen the fire department as its Charity of the Year and the department will be honored in the Potomac Day parade on Oct. 26, and at a chamber awards dinner at Normandie Farm on Nov. 6.
