<bt>Emma D. St. Pierre, 89, of Nuthatch Drive in Fairfax Station, died Monday Nov. 18, after a period of failing health.
St. Pierre was born April 21, 1913, in Springvale, Maine, to Napoleon and Leonce (Buteau) Belanger. She was educated in the Springvale-Sanford Schools.
St. Pierre moved to Somersworth, N.H., in 1951 and resided in the local area until moving to live with her daughter in Fairfax Station in June 2000. St. Pierre had been employed at Somersworth Shoe Company for many years, retiring in 1976. St. Pierre was the widow of Henry St. Pierre who died in May 2001. She is survived by her daughter Sylvia and her husband, retired Army Col. Donald C. Cook Jr., of Fairfax Station; three grandchildren Scott, Elizabeth and Peter Cook; and nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
