<i>The following incidents were reported by the Arlington County Police Department:</i>

<b>ROBBERY</b>

<b>1400 S. 23rd St.</b> At approximately 7:35 p.m., the victim, a 38-year-old male, was walking home when he was approached by three unknown male subjects. One subject stood behind him, and the other two stood in front of him. The first subject told the victim to "give it up." The victim handed over an undetermined amount of cash and his wallet. All three subjects then fled on foot toward Arlington Ridge Road. The wallet was found in Crystal City minus several credit cards. The first suspect is described as a black male, 17-20, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 160 pounds, wearing a white T-shirt and white skull cap. The second suspect is described as a male, 17-20, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 180 pounds, wearing a black T-shirt and a black skull cap.

<b>ATTEMPTED BREAKING & ENTERING</b>

<b>3400 S. Columbia Pike.</b> Sometime between 6:30 p.m. on May 18 and 8:25 a.m. on May 21, unknown subject(s) attempted to gain entry to an office by prying the door with an unknown object. The door was damaged, but the subject(s) were unable to gain access to the premises.

<b>ARMED ROBBERY</b>

<b>4300 N. Fourth St.</b> At approximately 12:52 a.m. on May 19, the victim, a 56-year-old male, was approached by four unknown male subjects. With no provocation or warning, the first subject punched the victim. The second subject then began hitting the victim with a metal bar. At the same time, a third subject rifled through the victim's pockets. The victim yelled for help, and all four subjects fled the scene on foot heading northbound on George Mason Drive. The first suspect is described as a black male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 160 pounds, short hair, stubble on chin, wearing a black warm-up jacket and black pants. Suspect 2 is described as a black male, early 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 180 pounds, short hair, stubble on face, wearing a blue-and-white jacket and blue jeans. The third suspect is described as a black male, 19-20, 5 feet 6 inches tall, short hair, no facial hair, wearing a jeans jacket.

<b>BURGLARY</b>

<b>900 N. Ivy St.</b> Sometime between 11:30 p.m. on May 20 and 10:30 a.m. on May 21, unknown subject(s) entered an apartment and removed several items while the victim, a 39-year-old female, was sleeping. The items taken include a laptop, audio equipment, credit cards, several pieces of jewelry and an undetermined amount of cash. No signs of forced entry were found.

<b>5100 S. Eighth Road.</b> Sometime between 1 p.m. on May 16 and 9:15 a.m. on May 18, unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed several items, including a 21-inch television and several pieces of jewelry. Entry was apparently made by cutting a screen and opening a window.

<b>Unit block of North Fenwick Street.</b> Sometime between 10:25 and 10:45 a.m. on May 20, unknown subject(s) entered an apartment, ransacked the property and removed several items, including computers, an MP3 player and a jewelry box. Entry was made by kicking in the front door. A vacant apartment in the same building also had the front door kicked in, but nothing was taken.

<b>BREAKING & ENTERING</b>

<b>800 N. Daniel St.</b> Sometime between 5:10 and 5:50 p.m. in May 20, unknown subject(s) entered a residence, opened several drawers and scattered clothing around a bedroom. A preliminary inventory of the home revealed nothing was missing. Entry was apparently made through a basement window.

<b>2600 N. Arlington Blvd.</b> Sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 3:50 p.m., unknown subject(s) entered two apartments, went through the occupants' belongings and removed a 35 mm camera. Entry was made into both apartments by kicking in the front doors.

<b>4300 N. Arlington Blvd.</b> At approximately 9:15 a.m. on May 19, an employee discovered an unknown male sleeping on a sofa in a church library. The employee escorted the subject out of the building. Approximately four hours later, another employee noticed a rock on the floor of the library and two broken panes in a library window. A preliminary inventory of the premises revealed nothing missing. The suspect is described as a white male, Hispanic, in his 30s, 5 feet 3 inches, 140 pounds.

<b>ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY</b>

<b>4800 N. Yorktown Blvd.</b> At approximately 8:30 p.m. on May 19, the victim, a 44-year-old female, returned home to find that unknown subject(s) had broken out a glass window pane next to the lock on the front door of her residence. A side screen door was also damaged. A black metal bar was found next to the damaged screen door. The subject(s) apparently were unable to gain access to the residence.

<b>MALICIOUS WOUNDING OF A POLICE OFFICER</b>

<b>2200 S. Culpeper St.</b> At approximately 2:07 a.m. on May 18, officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance. While he was trying to speak with one of the subjects, an officer was struck in the face by the subject. The officers then became involved in a struggle with the subject as they tried to handcuff him. During the struggle, one officer rolled down a flight of stairs with the subject. The subject then bit the officer several times on the forearm. Both officers were treated and released at Arlington Hospital. The subject was admitted to Arlington Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was charged with two counts of maliciously wounding a police officer.

<b>ENTICEMENT</b>

<b>4000 S. Eighth St.</b> At approximately 8:50 a.m. on May 17, the victim, a 15-year-old female, was approached by an unknown male subject in a vehicle while she was walking to school. The subject asked her to get into his car, and the victim refused. The subject drove away, then abruptly turned around and pulled up to the victim again, ordering her to get into his vehicle. The victim then saw a schoolmate and parent and told the subject she was with them. The subject drove away when he saw the adult. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, brown hair, wearing a blue striped polo shirt. The vehicle is described as a red Volkswagen.

<b>PEEPING TOM</b>

<b>3800 S. Columbia Pike.</b>At approximately 10:10 p.m. on May 22, the victim, a 30-year-old female, smelled cigarette smoke while in her bathroom. She pulled aside the shower curtain to reveal an unknown male subject looking through a crack in an exterior window. The victim screamed, and the subject fled the scene. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, 160 pounds, dark complexion, wearing black pants and a black shirt.
