<b>MALICIOUS WOUNDING/ATTEMPTED ROBBERY</b>
<b>1800 N. Moore St.</b> At approximately 3:10 a.m. on May 12, the victim, a 55-year-old male, was approached from behind by an unknown male subject while lying in a Metro station. The subject began to beat the victim, then demanded money. The subject reached into the victim's pockets but did not take anything.
<b>ROBBERY</b>
<b>1100 S. George Mason Drive.</b> At approximately 12:42 a.m. on May 11, the victim, a 29-year-old female, was approached by an unknown male subject while she was working as a retail cashier. The subject displayed money as though he was going to pay for an item. When the victim opened the register, the subject went behind the counter and began to take money from the drawer. Another employee then approached and asked the subject to leave. The subject left the scene, got into a vehicle and drove east on Columbia Pike. The suspect is described as a black male, 25-30 years of age, 6 feet 3 inches tall, 200 pounds, dark complexion, wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a blue ball cap. The vehicle is described as a gray, 1998, four-door Chevy Malibu.
<b>5100 S. Eighth St.</b> At approximately 3 p.m. on May 10, the victim, a 51-year-old male, was approached by an unknown male subject. The subject asked for directions, then shook the victim's hand in thanks. During the handshake, the suspect reached out with his other hand and ripped off the victim's front shirt pocket, which contained an undetermined amount of cash. The subject then ran to a vehicle occupied by a second subject, and the two drove off. The first suspect is described as a black male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 180 pounds, medium complexion, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. The second suspect is described as a black female. The vehicle is described as a red, two-door car.
<b>ATTEMPTED ARMED ROBBERY</b>
<b>1600 S. 28th St.</b> At approximately 10:26 p.m. on May 11, the victim, a 35-year-old male, was walking home carrying a 12-pack of beer when he passed an unknown male subject. The subject then approached the victim from behind, struck the victim on the shoulder with the butt of a handgun and ordered him to the ground. The victim swung the beer at the subject, then ran from the scene. As the subject walked away from the scene, he fired a single shot into the ground. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 170 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, light complexion, wearing a black shirt and dark-colored pants. The handgun is described as a silver-colored revolver.
<b>CARJACKING</b>
<b>5000 S. Seventh St.</b> At approximately 8:05 p.m. on May 15, the victims, a 22-year-old male and a 28-year-old male, had just parked their car when they were approached by two unknown male subjects. The first subject displayed a handgun while the second subject demanded the victims' car keys in Spanish. The first victim handed the keys to the second subject. Both subjects then entered the victims' vehicle setting off the car alarm. The second subject ordered the first victim to turn the alarm off, then both subjects left the scene in the victims' car. The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 20-25, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 135 pounds, brown eyes, black hair, medium complexion, wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and a dark ball cap backward. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 25-28, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 150 pounds, brown eyes, long black hair with the sides of his head shaved all the way around, medium complexion, wearing a white T-shirt, and blue jeans. The weapon is described as a small, black revolver with a barrel approximately 3 inches long. The victims' car is a beige, 1998, four-door Honda Accord.
<b>BURGLARY</b>
<b>4200 N. Wilson Blvd.</b> Sometime between 9:30 p.m. on May 15 and 8:50 a.m. on May 16, unknown subject(s) entered a business, destroyed two change machines, stole an undetermined amount of U.S. coin currency and several telephones, and spray-painted graffiti on an office wall. Entry was apparently made through a rear door. No signs of forced entry were evident.
<b>2800 N. First Road.</b> At approximately 10 p.m. on May 11, the victim, a 26-year-old male, returned home and discovered an unknown male subject in his residence. On being seen, the subject sprinted toward the back of the residence. The victim followed the subject and discovered the back door open. An inventory of the residence revealed two fishing poles were missing. There were no signs of forced entry. The suspect is described as a white male, 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall, slim build, wearing dark clothing.
<b>RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY</b>
<b>800 S. Hayes St.</b> Sometime between 6:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on May 14, unknown subject(s) entered an apartment by unknown means. A TV cable wire appeared to have been pulled from the wall. Nothing else appeared to have been disturbed or removed. There was no sign of forced entry.
<b>BREAKING & ENTERING</b>
<b>1600 N. Pierce St.</b> At approximately 4:30 p.m. on May 12, the victim, a 44-year-old male, returned home after an extended absence to find evidence that unknown subject(s) had been living in his residence without permission. Food and drink containers, as well as other debris, were found throughout the residence. An inventory of the residence revealed that nothing appeared to be missing. Entry was apparently made by forcing open an exterior side door.
<b>ATTEMPTED BREAKING & ENTERING</b>
<b>4800 N. Little Falls Road.</b> Sometime between 1 p.m. on May 14 and noon on May 15, unknown subject(s) unsuccessfully attempted to gain entry to a residence by prying open a rear door.
<b>4300 N. Henderson Road.</b> At approximately 1:15 a.m. on May 13, the victims, a 42-year-old male and a 43-year-old male, heard noises coming from their kitchen. The first victim entered the kitchen and observed an unknown male subject climbing in through the kitchen window. He rushed the subject and pushed him out of the window. The second victim then entered the kitchen and slammed the window shut. The suspect is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a black T-shirt and an earring.
<b>INDECENT EXPOSURE
<b>1500 N. Courthouse Road.</b> Sometime on April 26, the victim, a 25-year-old female, was approached at work by a known male subject. He exposed his genitals to her while making provocative statements. The subject then threatened the victim with harm if she reported the incident.
<b>PEEPING TOM</b>
<b>1700 N. Rhodes St.</b> At approximately 9:25 p.m. on May 9, officers responded to a report of a peeping tom. As the officers arrived on the scene, they observed a male subject standing behind a row of trees. The subject's legs were exposed, and his pants were around his ankles. The subject was standing in front of the bedroom window of the victim, a 49-year-old female. The victim apparently was not aware that the subject was observing her. Froy Ian Molina, 39, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with peeping and indecent exposure.
<b>COMMERCIAL BURGLARY</b>
<b>5200 N. Wilson Blvd.</b> Sometime between 11 p.m. on May 14 and 6:30 a.m. on May 15, unknown subject(s) entered a business while it was closed. Entry was apparently made by breaking a rear window. An inventory of the business revealed that nothing appeared to be taken or disturbed.
<b>100 block N. Glebe Road.</b> Sometime between 1:30 and 9 a.m. on May 12, unknown subject(s) entered a retail establishment and took an undetermined amount of cash from one of the registers. The subject(s) also removed approximately 75 prepaid phone cards. Entry was apparently made by removing a pane from a rear window.
<b>PURSE SNATCHING</b>
<b>4000 N. Fairfax Drive.</b> At approximately 2 a.m. on May 10, the victim, a 23-year-old female, was walking home when she was approached by an unknown male subject. The subject grabbed the victim's purse, but the victim refused to let go. The victim fell to the ground, and the subject fled the scene on foot without the purse. The suspect is described as a white male, early 20s, 6 feet 1 inch tall, 180 pounds, blond hair, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans
