Local businesses are invited to participate in the Reston Community Center's Prom Expo on Saturday, April 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Florists, clothing retailers, restaurants, hair stylists, limousine rentals, and other enterprises that cater to Prom goers are invited to promote their services at the Expo. All participants are encouraged to do demonstrations, provide samples and door prizes, and make appointments and reservations on-site. The RCC is not charging to set up a table at the Prom Expo. However, space is limited and registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. A financial workshop for individuals will take place at the Reston Regional Library, 11925 Bowman Towne Drive in Reston from 7-9 p.m. on March 26 and April 2. The course will examine bonds, CD's, mutual funds, stocks, tax-deferred investments, college savings accounts and much more. Seating is limited.
