<i>The following incidents were reported by the Arlington County Police Department:</i>
<b>Armed Robbery</b>
<lst>* 1200 S. Courthouse Road, T-Market Grocery. Around 11:45 a.m. on March 4, the victim a 62-year-old male was working when two unknown subjects entered the store and demanded his money. The victim showed them his empty wallet. They then requested the money from the cash register. When the victim opened the register one subject pulled out a handgun and racked the slide, while the other subject took the money and food stamps from the register. An unknown amount of cash and food stamps were taken. Both subjects fled the scene on foot. Both subjects are described as black males wearing all black clothes, one armed with a handgun.
* 4200 S. 31st St., Shirlington Market. Around 6:53 p.m. on March 4, the victim a 42-year-old male was in the store working when an unknown subject entered brandishing a shotgun. The subject demanded the cash and a pack of Newport cigarettes. After receiving these items the subject fled on foot in an unknown direction. Approximately $300 in cash was taken. The suspect is described as a black male, early 20s, 6 feet tall, 170 pounds, wearing a black mask, black jacket, dark pants and black gloves.
<b>Attempted Armed Robbery</b>
<lst>* 6100 Wilson Blvd. Around 7:50 p.m. on March 10, the victim, a 41-year-old male was waiting to cross the street when an unknown subject approached him and demanded his wallet. The victim went into his jacket and pulled out his cell phone. He told the subject that he was calling the police. The subject then pulled out a knife and lunged at the victim, who was able to step back and avoid contact. The victim took off his jacket and covered the subject's knife. Both men fell to the ground and a struggle ensued. The victim was able to free himself and flee with the subject chasing him. The victim was able to get away without injury or the lost of personal property. The subject fled the scene on foot. The police were called and the area was searched with negative results. The suspect is described as an Hispanic male, 25 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 145 pounds, wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, a black hat and armed with a knife.
<b>Robbery</b>
<lst>* 2400 S. Shirlington Rd. Around 4:16 p.m. on March 9, the victim a 24-year-old male was driving up the street when his vehicle received a flat tire. While repairing the tire the victim was approached by an unknown female. The female asked the victim for some money, to which the victim said no. She then offered to exchange sex for money, again to which the victim replied no. At this time two unknown male subjects approached. One of the subjects was armed with a knife. The female then entered the victim's pants pocket and took his wallet. All three subjects fled the scene on foot. The victim was not injured, however, he had $250 cash and his wallet taken. The suspects are described as a black female, 44 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 125 pounds, with a light complexion and yellow hair; a black male, 30 years of age, heavy, wearing a green long-sleeved shirt and dark blue baggy pants; and a black male, 27 years of age, thin wearing a long-sleeved white shirt and gray pants.
* 1200 N. Highland St. Sometime between 7 p.m. on March 9 and 12:30 a.m. on March 10, the victim a 43-year-old female was walking home when she was grabbed from behind by the neck by an unknown subject. While this subject held her, another subject snatched her purse dumping the contents out before them. The subjects demanded her money and pin number to her ATM card. The pin number was given and $51 in cash was taken from the purse. The victim was then pushed to the ground and punched by the subject who was holding her. Both subjects fled the scene on foot. The suspects are described as a black male, 20-25 years of age, 6-6 feet 2 inches tall, wearing a red hooded sweat shirt, baggy dark pants and a black jacket; and an Hispanic male, 20-25 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches-5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing a blue or black shirt.
<b>Malicioius Wounding</b>
<lst>* 4800 Columbia Pike. Around 1:30 p.m. the victim, a 22-year-old male was walking along the street when two unknown subjects approached him. One subject approached from the rear and the other from the front. The victim was questioned about his "gang affiliation". When he stated that he did not belong to a gang he was stabbed in the leg. The subjects then fled the scene on foot. The suspects were described as two Hispanic males.
<b>Brandishing</b>
<lst>* 400 S. George Mason Drive. Around 2:30 p.m. on March 8, the victim a 41-year-old female was driving in her vehicle when debris falling from the vehicle in front of her hit her car. The victim waved down the other vehicle's driver. At this time a verbal altercation ensued. The driver then held up a handgun and continued to yell at the victim. The subject then fled the scene. There was no damage to the victim's vehicle. The suspect is described as a black male, 33-37 years of age, 6 feet tall, 165 pounds, wearing blue jeans.
<b>Burglary</b>
<lst>* 2800 N. 11th St. Sometime between 5:30 p.m. on March 7 and 6:30 a.m. on March 8, an unknown subject(s) entered the construction site and vandalized the new construction, however, nothing appears to be missing.
* 3100 S. 19th St. Sometime between 8:30 p.m. on March 8 and 10:30 a.m. on March 10, an unknown subject entered the house by breaking a ground floor window. Once inside a $200 Aiwa silver stereo, a $89 Admiral VCR and $50 VCR (make unknown) were taken.
* 2200 N. Pershing Drive, ABC Store. Around 1:30 a.m. on March 6, officers were dispatched the ABC store in reference to a burglary alarm. Lt. Sheridan arrived on the scene first to observe an unknown subject in the store on his knees. With a perimeter set up and seeing no apparent point of entry, the Fire Department was summoned. Officers obtained access to the roof by the using the Fire Department's ladder truck. When the subject realized that the officers were outside he exited the store through the roof. He was greeted by the awaiting officers and taken into custody. The suspect confessed to breaking into Armand's Pizza as well, while trying gain entry into the ABC store. Carlos Jimenez-Rodriguez of no fixed address was arrested.
* 1100 N. Inglewood St. Sometime between 2 and 6 p.m. on March 6, an unknown subject entered the home by means unknown. Once inside, a $200 14-karat white gold diamond ring and a girl's blouse was taken.
* 1600 Clarendon Blvd. Sometime between noon and 2:48 p.m. on March 6, an unknown subject broke the bathroom window and entered the apartment. Once inside a $1,200 I Book Laptop and an unknown amount of various pieces of clothing were taken.
* 2100 Wilson Blvd. Sometime between 7 p.m. hours on Feb. 22 and 9 a.m. on Feb. 25, an unknown subject entered the building apparently with a Kastle System card. Once inside the building entry was gained into a suite. Taken from the suite were computer and stereo equipment and a black Nautica jacket.
<b>Destruction of Property</b>
<lst>* 1800 Columbia Pike. Sometime between 3 and 6 a.m. on March 6, an unknown subject(s) slashed the tires on 6 vehicles.
* 800 N. McKinley Road. Sometime between 11:30 p.m. on March 7 and 7:13 p.m. on March 8, an unknown subject(s) slashed one tire on 13 vehicles.
<b>Peeping Tom</b>
<lst>* 1900 N. Hollister St. Around 9:30 p.m. on March 4, the victim a 56-year-old female observed an unknown subject walk onto her lawn up to a bush, then peered into her window. The subject fled the scene when he realized that the victim was observing him. The suspect is described as a white male weighing around 250 pounds.
<b>Enticement</b>
<lst>* 2300 N. Key Blvd. Around 2:45 p.m. on March 6, the victim a 13-year-old female was walking to Key Elementary School when she observed an unknown subject following her. The subject asked if she had her apartment key, to which the victim did not reply. The subject entered a vehicle and continued to follow the victim, asking her to get into the car with him. When the victim arrived at the school she went into the office and reported the incident. A search of the area yielded negative results. The suspect is described as an Hispanic male, in his early 20s 5 feet 9 inches tall, 190 pounds, bald, wearing blue jeans, and a gray shirt. The vehicle is described as a Honda Accord green in color, bearing partial tag number D—5.
