<i>The following incidents were reported by the Arlington Police Department.</i>

<b>ARMED ROBBERY</b>

<b>5500 S. Columbia Pike.</b> At approximately 2:05 p.m. on June 17, the victims, a 29-year-old female and a 30-year-old female, were working as clerks at a retail establishment when two unknown male subjects entered the business. The subjects wore bandanas over their faces and each was holding a handgun. The first subject pointed his weapon at the first victim and demanded money. The second victim complied with his order, removing an undetermined amount of cash from the register. The second subject also removed several pieces of jewelry from the first victim.

As this was happening, the second subject ordered the second victim to lie face down on the floor, then removed a piece of jewelry from her. Both subjects then left through the front door of the business and fled the scene in an unknown direction. The first subject is described as an Hispanic male, in his 30s, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 150 pounds, dark complexion, wearing blue jeans and an unknown shirt. The second subject is described as an Hispanic male, 25 years of age, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 150 pounds, dark complexion, wearing blue jeans and an unknown shirt.

<b>COMMERCIAL BURGLARY</b>

<b>4300 N. Fairfax Drive.</b> Sometime between 5:30 p.m. on June 14 and 7:30 a.m. on June 17, unknown subject(s) entered several office suites, broke into locked desk drawers and removed two laptop computers and an undetermined amount of cash. Entry was apparently made by forcing the front doors of the suites open.

<b>RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY</b>

<b>3800 S. Columbia Pike.</b> At approximately 1:24 a.m. on June 21, the victims, a 30-year-old male and a 26-year-old female, awoke to find an unknown male subject lying in their bedroom apparently tampering with a VCR. The male victim chased the subject out of the bedroom and the subject then dove out of an open window and fled the scene on foot. Entry was apparently made through the same window. An inventory of the premises revealed that nothing was missing. The suspect is described as a WM, Hispanic, 20s, 5'9", 150lbs, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

<b>800 S. 18th St.</b> Sometime between midnight and 6:30 a.m. on June 20, unknown subject(s) entered a residence and removed an undetermined amount of cash. Entry was apparently made by climbing through a dining room window.

<b>1500 N. Rolfe St.</b> Sometime between 11:30 p.m. on June 13 and 7:15 p.m. on June 17, unknown subject(s) entered an unoccupied residence that was undergoing renovations and removed a number of rolled coins from a toolbox. Entry was made by smashing in a rear door.

<b>5700 N. 10th St.</b> Sometime between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on June 17, unknown subject(s) entered a residence, ransacked the premises and removed a VCR, several pieces of jewelry, and a CD player/stereo/radio. Entry was apparently made by breaking in a side window.

<b>800 N. Irving St.</b> At approximately 12:30 a.m. on June 19, the victim, a 50-year-old male, was awakened by sounds coming from an upstairs area. As he went up the stairs, the victim came upon an unknown male subject and asked him what he was doing in the residence. In response, the subject threatened the victim, then fled downstairs and out of the residence in an unknown direction. An inventory of the premises revealed that a laptop computer and portable stereo were missing. The suspect is described as a white male, 25-30 years of age, 6 feet tall, 170-180 pounds, dark hair, wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

<b>UNLAWFUL ENTRY</b>

<b>2500 S. Arlington Mill Drive.</b> At approximately 1:13 a.m. on June 21, the victim, a 31-year-old female, heard a noise in her living room. When she went to investigate, the victim encountered an unknown male subject. The victim ordered the subject to leave. The subject immediately fled the residence through a side door. Entry was apparently made through the same door. An inventory of the premises revealed that nothing was missing. The suspect is described as a black male, in his 20s, 6 feet, 1 inch tall, 160 pounds, hair in cornrows, wearing a navy blue sweat shirt and dark denim pants.

<b>ATTEMPTED BREAKING & ENTERING</b>

<b>1000 S. Queen St.</b> Sometime between 12:01 and 7:30 a.m. on June 21, unknown subject(s) attempted to enter a residence by cutting through the screen on a second story window. A wooden ladder was found up against the house underneath the damaged screen. Entry to the residence apparently was not made.

<b>BREAKING & ENTERING</b>

<b>2800 S. 16th St.</b> Sometime between 11:30 a.m. on June 19 and 11 a.m. on June 20, unknown subject(s) entered an unoccupied apartment. Entry was apparently made by forcing the front door open. An inventory of the premises revealed that nothing was missing.
