The Eastern Loudoun Regional Library has the largest collection in the Loudoun County library system with materials including books, CD's, books on tape, magazines and reference materials. Three computers are available for adult use in one- or two-hour blocks. Two computers are available in the Youth Services Department in 1/2-hour blocks. The library also offers three meeting rooms, a conference room and a group study room for use by non-profit organizations and clubs. A communications aid center is available for patrons with disabilities. Storytimes are also available for children with various themes including Lapsits for 2's (Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.; Wednesdays at 11:15 a.m.) , Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes (Tuesdays at 11:15 a.m.) and Pajama Storytime (Tuesdays at 7 p.m.) For more information on storytimes or reserving computer space, call 703-444-3228.

Serving western Loudoun County, the Purcellville Public Library provides the community with numerous materials including books, magazines, music CD's, audiocasettes and electronic resources. A full library staff aids with research, information and an inter-library loan system. Numerous storytimes are offered for young children, a meeting room and a conference room are available for public use, and the library has three computers for use in one- or two-hour blocks. Computer use is free; printing costs $0.10 per page.

The Lovettsville Library provides the northwest Loudoun community with numerous books, audio, visual and electronic resources. The Lapsit storytime program for children ages 2-3 is held every Monday at 10 a.m. and Story Time for children ages 3-6 is held every Monday at 4:30 p.m. Two computers are available for free public use, reservations should be made in advance at 540-822-5824. In addition to Internet-accessible computers, patrons can ask the library staff for help in research and information. The Lovettsville Library subscribes to numerous electronic resources including Grolier's Encyclopedia and the New Millenium World Atlas.

The Rust Library, serving central Loudoun County, has numerous textual, audio, visual and electronic resources for community members interested in research, information-gathering, or merely entertainment. The library hosts a wide variety of storytelling themes for young children weekly, including Family Storytime on Thursdays at 7 p.m. and Afternoon Storytimes on Wednesdays at 4 p.m. Computers and printers are available for free public use; reservations for use should be made at 703-777-0323. A conference room and a meeting room are available for use by the public, clubs and non-profit organizations.

Situated along a four-season garden, Middleburg Library is the place where residents of southern Loudoun County go for library books, research sources, electronic media, magazines, and audio CD's. Regularly scheduled reading programs that run from September to May include "Bookworms" for preschool stories, "Book Tales" for school-age stories, and the Starry Time-Pajama story time. Two computers, electronic resources and a library staff help students with homework and people seeking general or specific information.

Fiction, non-fiction, children's resources, magazines and books-on-tape are some of the entertainment and informational resources that the Sterling Library provides the community. Working out of the Sterling Community Center, the library has storytimes for young children, computers, a typewriter, and the 75-seat, 15-table Quinn Room, a gathering/meeting place for clubs and non-profit organizations.
