North Tract Planning Meeting. The North Track Task Force and the Arlington County Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Resources invite Arlington residents to help create a vision for North Tract, a new planned recreational area. North Tract is a 28-acre site between the George-Washington Parkway (by Roaches Run) and Old Jefferson Davis Highway in Crystal City. There will be two Open Space Public Meetings: today, from 7-9 p.m. at Central Library, 1015 N. Quincy St., Arlington; and one on July 27. All Arlington residents are encouraged to attend these meetings and share their ideas and comments for the new park and its recreational facilities. Residents’ suggestions will be used in determining the future uses of this community park and its facilities. A Taste of Cultures Day.
