* Park Headquarters serve as an information center. Stop by on Saturdays to watch a video about the park at 2 p.m. Call 301-492-6229.
* Adventure Theater offers eight productions each year. Tickets are $6. Drama camps, classes and workshops. Call 301-530-5331.
* Discovery Creek Children's Museum holds Science Saturdays, family nights out and summer family weekend programs. On weekends, enjoy hikes, scavenger hunts, wildlife encounters and a new climbing wall. Admission is $4. Call 202-364-3111.
* The Puppet Co. Playhouse performs such classics as "Little Red Riding Hood" and "The Three Little Pigs," both told from the wolf's perspective. Tickets are $5. Puppet making and puppeteering classes for children. A new puppet theater is scheduled to open in 2003. Call 301-320-6668.
* The Yellow Barn Studio Gallery offers classes in drawing and painting during the week for all ages. On weekends, visit the art exhibit in the gallery. Mostly local artists, many first time exhibitors. Call 301-371-5593.
* The Dentzel Carousel operates summer months through Sept 29. Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays, noon to 6 p.m. Rides are 50 cents. Call 301-492-6229.
* The Spanish Ballroom is currently being renovated. It is scheduled to reopen in spring 2003.
<sum> The Bumper Car Pavilion hosts all dances and dance classes while the Spanish Ballroom is under construction. Irish dance camps and classes are offered during the day for children. Tickets to dances are generally $5. Call 301-492-6229.
