Patrick Henry Library was built in 1971 and was renovated and expanded to 13,092-sq. ft. in 1995. The library has approximately 100,000 books in circulation, worth almost $2.3 million. The library is equipped with a 65-seat meeting room, a quiet study room, and five Internet terminals. There are story hours, puppet shows, and a concert series featuring stories and music for children. The head librarian is Diane Pruett and the children's librarian is Salomea Swain.
