Police Log

July 18, 2002

Fairfax County police are investigating an abduction and aggravated sexual battery which occurred in the parking lot of the Huntington Metro station on Saturday afternoon.

Police said a 17-year-old Huntington area girl was walking through the parking lot at about 1:45 p.m., when two men in a car stopped to speak to her. The girl ignored them but both men got out of the car, grabbed the girl and attempted to pull her into the car. As the men began to sexually assault the girl, a motorist observed the assault and began to sound the horn of her car. The two suspects freed the girl and fled the parking lot in a black car with a spoiler on the back. The car is further described as having a loose rear bumper and a red stripe on the windshield.

The suspect driving the car was described as black, dark-complected, in his 20's, five feet, ten inches tall with a stocky build. He had braids in his hair and pulled back. He also wore several earrings in one of his ears. He was full-faced with a letter X-shaped scar on his forehead. He wore dark glasses, blue shorts with an orange stripe on the pocket and had a cross necklace around his neck.

The second suspect was described as black, 19-21 years old, five feet two inches tall with a thin build, and blue eyes. He wore red, white and yellow braces on his teeth and a necklace with the American flag around his neck. He had a hoop earring in one of his ears and a pierced eyebrow. He was dressed in white baggy pants that covered his shoes and a tank top with red and gray horizontal stripes.

The victim was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital for examination.

Anyone with information on these two suspects is asked to call the Fairfax County police at 703-691-2131.
