<lst>A MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group will be starting in Ashburn at Capital Community Church, 20430 Ashburn Village Blvd., Ashburn. The meetings will take place from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on the second and fourth Friday of the month, beginning April 12. Thousands of people from the Muslim community in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area will gather to celebrate the close of the Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca with a multicultural festival and bazaar on Friday, Feb. 22., at the D.C. Armory, 2001 East Capitol Street. A canned food drive for the needy will also take place at the prayer celebration. The congregation will gather at 6:45 a.m. for the first prayer and prayers will continue throughout the day. The festival and bazaar begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m.

Faith Bible Church is encouraging all parents and teens to attend their family training weekend program on Friday, March 1 at 7 p.m. (Marriage Focus & Teen Meeting) and Saturday, March 2 at 9 a.m. (Parenting Focus). Guest speaker Steve Cornell will address contemporary issues relating to family life. He is a father of three teenagers and a nine-year-old, an author of numerous books, and a university chaplain for men's football and basketball teams.
