Long & Foster's Centreville office will serve as a proud sponsor of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves' annual Toys for Tots campaign between now and Dec. 16. Long & Foster, as directed by the U.S. Marine Corps, asks that donated toys be new and unwrapped. Toys may be dropped off at the Long & Foster office at 14260-C Centreville Square, Centreville, seven days a week until Dec. 16.

Once the toys are collected and presented to the Marines, they are distributed through churches and social welfare agencies to the neediest children throughout the community. The Toys for Toys campaign, started by the Marines in 1947, is an annual toy-collecting drive that now reaches across 388 communities throughout 50 states.

Last year's national Toys for Tots campaign raised 13.2 million toys benefiting nearly 6 million needy children. Long & Foster collected more than 30,000 new toys throughout the company last year, which were transported to Marine Corps headquarters in time for Christmas.
