<sh>Indecent Exposures

<bt>Fairfax County Police are investigating two indecent exposure incidents that occurred in the 1600 block of Reston Parkway, both at around 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8. In each case, the suspect pulled up in a car, approached a woman walking alone in a parking lot, and asked for directions to K-Mart. When the woman came to the car window to respond, the man was exposing himself. In each instance, the woman quickly walked away and the man drove off. Police arrived and searched the area with negative results. The suspect is described as white, in his 20s, with a shaved head and a distinctive ponytail starting at the top of his head. He was last seen wearing a white tank top and yellow shorts. His car is described as a grayish color, older model Acura with Florida tags. Anyone with information on these incidents or the suspect involved is asked to call police at 703-691-2131.

<sh>Dog Bite Reported

<bt>Fairfax County animal control officers are investigating a dog bite that occurred on a walking path near the 11400 block of Orchard Lane in Reston at about 12:15 p.m. Monday. A nine-year-old boy was walking near Lake Anne when he encountered a woman walking a dog. The dog, described as a large red Boxer, bit the boy on the right arm, causing four small cuts. The woman walking the dog left the area without identifying herself. Anyone familiar with the dog, or its owners, is encouraged to call animal control at 703-266-6490.
