Shanaz Nadia Baksh of Vienna will attend American University this fall. Classes begin Aug. 26. Baksh is a 2002 graduate of James Madison High School.

Laura K. De Bortoli of Vienna will attend American University this fall. Classes begin Aug. 26. De Bortoli is a 2002 graduate of George C Marshall High School.

Andrew D. Kilpatrick, son of Sharon and James Kilpatrick of Vienna, has been named to the merit list at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, for the first and second semesters of the 2001-02 academic year. To be eligible for merit-list recognition, a student must earn a grade point average of at least 3.45 on a 4-point grading scale. A graduate of Langley High School, Kilpatrick will be a senior majoring in English in the fall.

Cynthia Margaret Eller, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Anthony Eller of Vienna, has graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of music degree in music performance, from Wheaton College, located in suburban Wheaton, 25 miles west of Chicago.

Devin Barrett Marks, son of Letitia Marks, received a bachelor of science degree in business from High Point University in High Point, N.C. Marks is an alumnus of the Flint Hill School and a graduate of James Madison High School.

Rachel Speicher, daughter of John and Ramona Speicher, has received a bachelor of science degree in theater from the Northwestern University School of Speech. Speicher is a graduate of Langley High School.
