Boston University awarded academic degrees to Reston residents Jacklyn F. Garcia, B.A. in International Relations and Choongsoo Park, J.D. in Law, cum laude.
Army Pvt. Paul J. Kamara has graduated from basic military training at Fort Leonard Wood, Waynesville, Mo. During training, the trainee received instruction in drill and ceremonies, weapons, rifle marksmanship, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid and Army history, core values and traditions. Kamara is the nephew of Usman Sesay of 12242 Laurel Glade Court, Reston and husband of Alice Kamara Will of Hayworth Drive, Potomac, Md.
