The annual Spring Rummage Sale of The Church of the Good Shepherd will be held Saturday, April 27 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the United Methodist church at 2351 Hunter Mill Road, Vienna. The event, sponsored by the church's Outreach
Committee, benefits the community and raises money to support local helping agencies. In addition to the usual rummage, this sale also features a "Boutique Room" with new, "nearly new," antique and handcrafted treasures.

Children's church has come to Vienna Assembly of God, 100 Ayrhill Ave. N.E. Sermons on a child's level, songs, object lessons, puppets, slide shows and other activities are presented each Sunday from 9:30-10:15 a.m. A bag of M&Ms or Skittles is given to everyone who attends. Child care and ministry to parents are provided during children's church and the sanctuary service. Rides to and from church are offered to those living in the Vienna area. Vienna Presbyterian offers signed services for the deaf and hard-of-hearing each week, during the 11 a.m. Sunday worship service. Designated seating is available.
