Lapin and Potash to Wed
Dr. Alfred and Janice Lapin of Potomac have announced the engagement of their daughter Lesley Robin to Dr. Marc Potash, son of Lynn and Burt Kremsky and Bruce and Gail Potash of New York. Lesley is the granddaughter of the late Dr. Meyer and Miriam Shapiro and Marion and Martin Lapin. Marc is the grandson of Ethel Harlem Silverman, the late Milton Harlem and the late Joseph and Jean Potash.
A 1985 graduate of Winston Churchill High School, Lesley received her B.A. in journalism from the University of Wisconsin. She is currently a corporate recruiter for Mariner Health Care in Atlanta, Ga.
Marc is a graduate of SUNY Albany and Life University in Atlanta where he received his doctorate of chiropractic medicine. He is the CEO of KAI Communications, a technology firm based in Atlanta.
An August wedding is planned, followed by a honeymoon in Spain.
Washington Episcopal School in Potomac held its MAESA (Mid-Atlantic Episcopal Schools Association) Fair on Friday, April 5. Over 150 students and faculty from 11 schools participated in four events including a juried art exhibit, science fair and spelling and geography bees. Rachel Lieber of Potomac attended a training clinic for The American Red Cross of Massachusetts Bay Boston Marathon this month. The clinic was led by former Olympian Mark Coogan.
