Painter Barbara Steinacker's pastels will be on display throughout April at the Middleburg Library, 101 Reed Street, Middleburg.

Donald Depuydt, professor at Northern Virginia Community College, is displaying a student printmaking exhibition through April 30 at the Rust Library, 380 Old Waterford Road, Leesburg. The featured students are: Diane Bruce, Margarethe Franzen, Don Root, Virginia Yang, Shiki Douez, Smith Fox, Joel Holmberg, Cynthia Cardimon and Wendy Wilburn.

Saturday, May 4-Sunday, October 27: Free, guided tours of the site of the October 21, 1861, Battle of Ball's Bluff, will be lead by volunteers. They will tell about the largest Civil War engagement in Loudoun County. For more information call 703-737-7800.

Inside Loudoun County: is a cable television program which can be seen Mondays and Fridays throughout April, on Adelphia's Government Access Channel 2, at 7 and 9 p.m. The program will discuss the upcoming Loudoun Child Care Fair and other child care services.

Pioneer Camp for children entering grades 2-6 in Claude Moore Park, located at 21544 Cascades Parkway, Sterling from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., June 24-28. The children will learn how the pioneers did when they pushed western over Virginia's mountains. They will cook pioneer foods and even learn how to find it. It costs $150/five sessions.
