Clark Construction, based in Bethesda, took home craftsmanship awards from the Washington Building Congress.
The company won three star awards which recognize projects that “exceed the criteria to achieve exceptional levels of craftsmanship.” The three winning projects were the curtain wall at the Gannett/USA TODAY headquarters; the grand staircase in the atrium lobby, also at the Gannett headquarters; and the granite and marble installation at Tysons II Building C in McLean, Va.
Other awards were received an outstanding craftsmanship award for the Chevy Chase Bank headquarters in Bethesda.
Several sales associates from Weichert, Realtors' have graduated from Weichert Academy's Mentor Certification program. The course offers training on how to help new associates become accustomed to the real estate profession, from open houses to settlements, focusing on a variety of topics.
