Jose Cabrera, 33, of Alexandria, died when his bicycle was struck by a dump truck early on April 8.
The accident occurred at the corner of Duke and Dove streets in Alexandria. Cabrera was riding his bicycle to work and was struck by a dump truck at around 7:26 a.m. This was the first traffic fatality in the city this year.
The truck driver, a 27-year-old Alexandria man, is not being identified because no charges have yet been filed pending the outcome of the investigation. The accident reconstruction team would like to talk to any witnesses. Those who have information about this accident should call Officer Milner or Officer Henderson at 703-838-4744.

ROBBERY:
*4626 King St. 04-05/ 10:25 p.m. The victim, a 26-year-old male City resident, and three other employees, had closed the business and were cleaning up, when they were approached inside the business by a suspect wearing a ski mask and carrying a handgun. The suspect demanded money and stole money from the cash register. After completing the robbery, the suspect fled on foot. The suspect is described as a male, 20-25 years old, 5'10", 150 pounds and was wearing a brown jacket with black sleeves, and khaki pants.
*5600 blk. of N. Morgan St. 04-06/ 12:20 a.m. The victim, a 24-year-old male City resident, was approached by two men as he was walking home. One of the suspects demanded money and punched the victim in the head. The victim left behind grocery items he had just purchased at a nearby convenience store and fled on foot. The suspects took the items and were seen entering a vehicle, believed to be a light colored Saab or Volvo, which was parked nearby. Suspect #1 is described as an Hispanic male, 5'9" - 5'10", 165-170 pounds and was wearing a black hooded jacket. Suspect 32 is described as an Hispanic male, 5'6"-5'8", 150-160 pounds and was wearing a dark sweat shirt.
BURGLARY:
*1000 blk. of Montgomery St. 04-04/ 11:59 p.m. - 04-05/ 12:50 p.m. Someone entered the residence by unknown means and stole electronic equipment, DVD tapes, money and an ATM card.
*2 S. Whiting St. 04-06/ 8:40 a.m. The suspect entered the business by unknown means and confronted employees working inside. The suspect was armed with a handgun however, he did not steal or rob the business before fleeing on foot. Police were called and searched the area although did not locate the suspect. The suspect is described as a black male, 6', 185-200 pounds, who was wearing a black ski mask, a blue jean jacket, blue jeans and black gloves.
*25 S. Quaker Ln. 04-08/ 3:45 p.m. - 04-09/ 7:10 a.m. Someone entered the school's office by forcing entry through the ceiling. Once inside, the suspect stole a laptop computer and a docking station.
*2801 Park Center Dr. 04-08/ 9:05 a.m. - 04-09/ 7:30 a.m. Someone entered the business by force through the rear door and stole beer, cigarettes, a magazine and money.
CARJACKING:
*4700 blk. of W. Braddock Rd. 04-03/ 7:45 p.m. The victim, a 53-year-old female City resident, had just parked her car when she was approached by an individual who had concealed his face with a white cloth. The suspect demanded the victim's car keys and was holding what was believed to be a knife in his hand. The victim complied and the suspect stole her car, a 1998 four-door, purple Toyota Avalon. The suspect is described as a male, who was wearing all dark clothing.
