<bt>Erin Voss of Reston and LuAnn Koetter of Ashburn were named recipients of the 2001 Frist Humanitarian Awards as Reston Hospital Center's volunteer and employee of the year, respectively. The Frist Humanitarian Awards are the highest honor that an volunteer or employee of Reston Hospital Center's parent company the Hospital Corporation of America can earn. The awards are presented annually to commemorate the humanitarian spirit and philanthropic work of the late Dr. Thomas F. Frist, Sr., who founded the predecessor company of the HCA.
An RHC volunteer since 1999, Voss works in the hospital gift shop two evenings each week. Koetter, a human resources generalist, has worked at the RHC for 11 years. Voss and Koetter will receive their awards at a reception later this spring in Nashville, Tenn.
