Pictured here: "Peace," Bev Andrews. The Associates Gallery will feature two member artists in a complementary scheme of black and white rendered in two-dimensional and three-dimensional work. Bev Andrews is a ceramic artist known for black and white raku vessels. The black color results from carbon produced in the firing process and the white is the natural color of the fired clay. Jo Ann Tooley is a fine art photographer who specializes in the black and white film. Work for this show includes prints made from old 35mm negatives depicting early morning scenes from rural West Virginia, clouded by fog. “It’s Black and White” will be on display March 29-April 24.
