Students at Commonwealth Academy paid tribute to veterans Nov. 11 by placing American flags outside the school in Del Ray.
“Veterans Day to me means honoring all those who have served and who have not been recognized for their crucial roles in past military operations,” said Ethan Rostker, an 11th grade student at the school. “We do this to both recognize veterans and help direct people to thinking about how it affects them and what Veterans Day truly means to them.”
