Members of the Departmental Progressive Club joined forces to raise more than $1,600 to donate to Carpenter’s Shelter and the Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority. The funds were used to purchase gift cards, which were presented to ARHA CEO Keith Pettigrew and Carpenter’s Shelter executive director Shannon Steene May 21 by DPC president Merrick Malone and DPC director of community outreach William Chesley.
