Established in 1958, the Washington International Horse Show is one of the most prestigious and entertaining equestrian events in North America. More than 26,000 spectators attend the six-day show, which includes Olympic-level competition along with community and charity events. More than 500 top horses and riders come to D.C. from all over the globe to jump for more than a half a million dollars in prize money. Highlights include the $136,300 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Washington for the President's Cup presented by Events DC, the $25,000 Puissance high jump on Military Night, the Lindsay Maxwell Charitable Fund WIHS Equitation Finals, and Kids' Day, a free, fun and educational community event.
WIHS Kids' Day 2019 will take place Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 am - 2 pm, rain or shine. Outdoor activities will be held in front of the Hotel Monaco at 700 F Street NW (the street will be closed for the event) and face painting and other events will be held on the Capital One Arena concourse. One adult per child is permitted entry into the arena, free of charge.
Daytime: Doors open at 7 am. Classes run to approx. 5 pm.
Opening Day Special Tues.: $2 general admission.
Wed through Sat.: $15 general admission.
Sun.: Preferred & Standard Seating: $15. Children 12 and under admitted free to all daytime events.
Evening: 7-10:30, Doors one hour before show begins.

WIHS parties are held in the new Stella Lounge VIP Club located on the concourse of Capital One Arena near seating and shopping, the perfect place to socialize with friends, watch the action in the ring, and support WIHS charity partners: Tickets include food, open bar and arena tickets.
