Business representatives from across the city gathered Oct. 23 for the 12th annual Old Town Alexandria Connections reception at Chadwicks Restaurant.
In addition to networking, proceeds from the OTAC event provided support for the Peter Williams Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is given to Alexandria-area college-bound high school seniors who embody the community spirit of Williams, an attorney and past OTAC president who died suddenly in 2014.
“Peter Williams touched the lives of countless Alexandrians through his work and civic involvement,” said OTAC member Peter Baldwin. “The Peter Williams Memorial Scholarship was established to honor his memory and further his legacy of responsible business practices and service to others.”
