In their final meet of the NVSL Division III season, undefeated Donaldson Run Thunderbolts clinched a win at home on Saturday, July 20, against the Hunter Mill Sharks, bringing their record to 5-0. The final score was 267-153.
DR swimmer Jack Tsuchitani broke a 2017 team record in 50 free with a time of 25.96. Charlie Greenwood and Andrew Meighan both broke their own DR team records in 50 fly with times of 31.83 and 27.06 respectively. The DR 8 & under boys 100 free relay team (Michael Maloney, Miles Ledford, Jack Taylor, James Madden) also broke a 2010 team record with a time of 1:16:07.
