If you’ve been searching for a story that’s strange but true, then get jet set for “Catch Me If You Can,” performed and designed by Oakton’s award-winning performing arts and technical theatre department.
Adapted from Steven Spielberg’s 2002 film, “Catch Me If You Can” is based on the incredible true story of Frank Abagnale Jr., who forged his way across the world in the 1960s. As he impersonates an airline pilot, physician, and lawyer, FBI Agent Carl Hanratty is hot on his trail. Will he be able to stop Frank’s carefree con, or will Frank get tired of running? Don’t be a stranger – catch it while you can!
“Catch Me If You Can” runs May 2-4 and 9-11 at 7 p.m. at Oakton High School, 2900 Sutton Road, Vienna. Tickets (available in April) are $15 at www.oaktondrama.org. For more information and to learn about the show, visit catchme.oaktondrama.org.
