Lanier Middle School will hold its fifth annual Science Innovation and Inspiration Youth Conference (ScI2YC), this Saturday, March 17, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Targeted toward middle schoolers and sixth-graders, its purpose is to create and encourage middle-school students' curiosity in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), as well as students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Students will be able to participate in hands-on activities, attend presentations of guest speakers from the community and establish connections and friendships with their peers. Students may register for the event at https://tinyurl.com/ScI2YC2018.
