Alexandria City Public Schools principals, assistant principals and administrators built 40 bicycles for local children as part of a team building at their Leadership Institute held Monday, Aug. 6, at T.C. Williams High School.
What they did now know was that 40 children from Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority (ARHA) would be bursting through the doors to collect their new bikes. All 40 of the children, aged between 6 and 10, chose their brand new Raleigh/Diamondback bicycles, complete with helmets and bike locks, in person.
