RSVP Northern Virginia is seeking volunteers for a special service project, Saturday, Sept. 16, at River Farm, the headquarters of the American Horticultural Society. Volunteers will assist AHS staff in preparing the gardens and grounds for the American Horticultural Society’s annual gala taking place later in September. This work may involve weeding, watering, mulching, pruning and planting. Gardening tools will be provided. The project begins at 9 a.m. and is expected to last about four hours.
