Bishop Ireton’s 2015-16 Model UN Team won Best Small Delegation at the University of Virginia’s Model UN Conference. The team, under the direction of Mike Rauer, was recently named as one of the 150 Best Model UN Teams in North America by the Best Delegate Organization. Bishop Ireton is also listed as one of the 13 top teams from the Mid-Atlantic region which encompasses Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Over the Christmas break the Model UN Team was preparing for two conferences: at Chantilly High School on Jan. 6-7 and at Gar-field High School (Woodbridge) on Jan. 13-14.
