To the Editor:
I was very happy to see this year's Newcomers & Community Guide's cover photo of the trail riders and their beautiful mounts on the C & O Canal towpath. The greater Potomac community has long been known for its equestrian heritage along with its fantastic natural surface trail system that is available to all by either horseback riding or by hiking. This is most certainly something that those new to the area should be made aware of. Thank you for highlighting this.
