McLean — Shepherd’s Center Needs Volunteers to Help Area Seniors
The Shepherd’s Center of McLean-Arlington-Falls Church has been receiving a huge number of requests from seniors asking for rides to and from medical and therapy appointments, the pharmacy and the grocery store. The numbers asking for help far exceeds the number of volunteers available to handle all the requests and the Shepherd’s Center is looking for new volunteers. No long term commitment is required and volunteers accept to take someone to an appointment only when it meets their schedule.
