Local band Shenandoah Run, playing “folk music with a kick,” will be in concert Oct. 29 at 8 p.m. at Accotink UU Church, 10125 Lakehaven Ct., Burke. Like a spirited family reunion, nine-piece band, Shenandoah Run, pays tribute to both vintage Americana and contemporary folk, playing covers and some originals and occasionally including a song from the worlds of bluegrass, country or foreign lands.
