Don’t know what to do with your used old ice skates? Hockey skates and equipment? Give them a new life by donating them to Kids on Ice. You will help deserving kids learn how to skate and enjoy the sport.
Skating Club of Northern Virginia member and Juvenile-level skater, Sydney Dondes, is collecting gently used skates, blades and equipment (figure skating, hockey and speed skating) on behalf of Kids on Ice as part of her community service project.
The collection details are:
Where: Fairfax Ice Arena, 3779 Pickett Road, Fairfax
When: Mondays from 7-9 p.m. now through May 9.
