This is our dog Duke in a familiar pose. Duke loves the meadow at Riverbend Park and visits there often. He frequently stops to enjoy the smell of the many flowers. We are certain Duke plays a central role in the pollination of wild flowers. Duke is a real conversation piece and we have met many that have stopped to give Duke a pet on his head and ask where we got such a tame bear.
Our dear Duke passed away this past December, but his spirit lives on in our hearts and minds. Every time our family walks in the meadow we will remember his pose and his gentle soul. We will smell the flowers and do our best to keep up your efforts in pollination. Rest in peace, dear Duke.
