To the Editor:
The Arlington County School Board's first priority must be ensuring that it provides a first class education to every enrolled student, "Taking care of the whole child," while important to enable a child to take advantage of his or her educational opportunities, is not the School Board's responsibility. Providing "food, housing, and health care for students outside of the classroom" is the parents' responsibility. ACPS, "stick to your knitting."
