PFC Brian Rochefort (on left) receives the Officer of the Month certificate from 1st Lt. Matt Owens. He was honored during the Sept. 9 meeting of the Sully District Police Station’s Citizens Advisory Committee. “He’s a member of the Traffic Enforcement Team, going after speeders, red-light runners, etc.,” said Owens, the assistant station commander. “He puts out the radar trailers, variable message boards and traffic counters and excels at ticket-writing. Officer Rochefort has been here since 2009 and, this year, is the number-one ticket-writer in all of Fairfax County. And that helps keep us safe on the roadways.”
