McLean-based Chelonian Press, Inc. announces its new children’s picture book, “Christopher’s Kite,” by Vienna author, Mark James. Christopher’s Kite is a story about a little kite who yearns to fly and with the help of his young owner, Christopher, realizes his dream on a beautiful day meant for flying. This tale of surprise, learning and thoughtful satisfaction expands visually through the artistry of Harold Smelcer.
“Christopher’s Kite” is the third book in the series by Mark James and Harold Smelcer following “Christopher’s Little Airplane” and “Christopher’s Little Airplane Coloring and Activity Fun Book.” It is appropriate for children from two to eight years of age and is a 32-page hardcover book, with a suggested retail price of $18.95.
Mark James will be autographing all three books at the National Air and Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly from noon to 4 p.m. on both Saturday, Nov.28 and Saturday, Dec. 12. All three books are also available from Amazon.
