Saint Joseph University sophomore Cal Jadacki, a Langley High School graduate, was named the Atlantic 10 Baseball Co-Player of the Week by the league office on Monday afternoon. Jadacki hit safely in all four of the Hawks’ games last week as Saint Joseph University remained in the hunt for a berth in the conference championship.
Jadacki went 11-for-19 over four games, good for a .579 batting average. He also scored six runs and drove in six, including a pair of three-RBI performances in wins at St. Bonaventure. Jadacki was 5-for-6 on Sunday with two doubles and a triple as the Hawks routed the Bonnies, 13-2.
The McLean native is hitting .326 on the year for Saint Joseph’s, good for third on the squad. He also ranks third on the team in on-base percentage and fourth in slugging percentage.
Jadacki and the Hawks host Villanova on Tuesday before wrapping up the A-10 slate with a key three-game series against Saint Louis at Smithson Field.
