Nomadic Jazz, a new, “pop‐up” jazz club, held its first event on Saturday evening, May 2, at the Durant Center. The show featured jazz group “Inner Urge.” Debbie Hodnett, the founder of Nomadic Jazz, describes the new club as “committed to finding spots in your neighborhood or within easy driving or walking distance so that we can deliver an evening of live jazz that’s both accessible and shows respect and love for the creativity and dedication of the artists.”
